VOLUNTEER program

CLASSROOM SUPPLIES

Being a teacher is noble and challenging work, and the challenges are sometimes not what we might expect.  Unfortunately, many school districts don’t have the funds to adequately supply classrooms, causing teachers to buy some of the paper, notebooks, pencils, and pens they need.  This can present a significant hardship.

Fortunately, there are teachers and schools from school districts in other communities who have surplus items at the end of the school year which they generously donate to L3 | Love Literacy Life for the benefit of teachers in Kansas City, Kansas.  Volunteers help us sort and organize the supplies into categories. Teachers are then invited to an open house just before school starts to take whatever supplies they need for their classroom and school.

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UPS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE AS THE OPPORTUNITY APPROACHES.
